Cirencester known as the capital of the Cotswolds is a fine market town, with a Roman Amphitheatre and villa. The town is conveniently situated with access from both the M4 and M5 motorways.

Balloon Rides from Westonbirt

A unique launch site with a staggering 18,000 specimen trees and shrubs set in 600 acres of landscape gardens. Founded in 1829 by Robert Halford, a wealthy landowner who began planting trees for his own interest and pleasure. The estate passed, in 1956, to the Forestry Commission who now continues to manage it today.

Although famous for its autumn colours flights are available from Westonbirt throughout our main flying season.

In spring you can see Westonbirt's magnificent Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Magnolias and the wild flowers of Silk Wood.
